My journey into the world of dance began at Academie de Ballet in Chesapeake, Virginia, when I was three years old. From there, I continued dancing at Denise Wall’s Dance Energy in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have been fortunate to be able to pursue training in all dance styles. After completing high school, I pursued training at the Alvin Ailey Dance School in New York City, New York. During my time there, I immersed myself in the study of modern, ballet, and jazz techniques, and I fell in love with the styles of Horton and Graham.

This passion for modern techniques continues to influence my choreography and teaching approach to this day. As part of my educational journey, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in modern dance at Marymount Manhattan College in New York, New York. Additionally, I furthered my studies at Old Dominion University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Dance.

Alongside my devotion to dance, I have also developed a deep appreciation for dance on film. I am excited to be back in Virginia and within a community that I hold dear, and share my love for dance by teaching and inspiring others in this beautiful art form.
