Celie Collins is an iDance and The Movement Dance Company alumna who studied a vast array of disciplines during her time as a student. Following graduation in 2017, she began her commercial dance career pursuit whilst beginning her studies in Business at Mary Baldwin University and Graphic Design at the School of Art Institute Chicago. Following a hiatus from dance due to health reasons, she has returned to dance instruction and performance, having recently served as an assistant to Galen Hooks in 2023. She enjoys traveling to New York City and Los Angeles to continue learning and growing as an artist, but has planted roots in Williamsburg, VA. When she is not in a dance studio, she works in marketing and communications as the Communications Specialist for the Williamsburg-James City County school system. This is Celie’s ninth year in dance instruction and she is excited to spend it at iDance!
