Amy [Newcomb] Bush grew up dancing at Institute for Dance taking classes in tap, jazz, ballet, and more. She then went to The University of Mary Washington and earned a B.S. in Psychology. While at UMW, Miss Amy continued taking jazz and ballet classes while also dancing and choreographing for the student-run dance company there. After college Miss Amy returned to Williamsburg and began teaching at the Institute for Dance in 2014. She now is a full-time special education teacher in the Williamsburg-James City County school system. This will be Miss Amy’s 9th year on the faculty at IDance and there is nowhere else she would rather be!
