Stephanie St. George

Stephanie is a New York native, currently living and working professionally in Virginia. She received her early dance education which was ballet based from Vincent Orlando (Huntington, NY) and Orlando Pagan (East Northport, NY) and jazz with Debbie Hahn (Huntington, NY) and Robert Nunez (Kings Park, NY). As a young adult Stephanie went on to continue her education at Broaway Dance Center in New York City, studying under Frank Hatchett, Susan Samuels, Sheila Barker, Michelle Barber, Dawn Hillen, Chio, Slam, Tracie Stanfield, and Omar Edwards.

From 2000 to 2019, while continuing to take classes at Broadway Dance Center, Stephanie taught class, choreographed, and directed the competition team at Northport Dance. During that time, she trained award-winning competition dancers of all ages and was honored with numerous awards and recognition for her choreography and the technique and artistry of her dancers.

Stephanie has taught recreational and competitive dancers in multiple studios throughout New York and New Jersey for over 20 years. She is a passionate, creative dance educator who cherishes every opportunity to share her love and knowledge of movement and performance with aspiring young dancers through the power of strong technique and the passion of true artistry.

Stephanie holds an Associate degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Education. She worked in New York public schools, teaching children with special needs, for five years before making Virginia her home. Stephanie is married and the mother of a five-year-old son.
