Adult Classes

The Institute for Dance offers classes for adults of all dance levels! For the 2017-2018 dance year, adults can participate in several class offerings by purchasing a class card for only $50.00. Each class card allows you to attend five classes.

 

We also have our Adult and Exercise Series, 6-weeks sessions for adults ranging from hip-hop to jazz and tap! These sessions are $60 for the 6 weeks of classes and are for all levels of dancers.

Weekly Classes

Advanced Ballet (for students and adults with ballet experience)
Mondays, 5:30-6:30pm

 

Adult Tap/Ballet (all levels)
Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00pm

 

Adult Exercise and Dance Series

When: Wednesdays, 10:00 am-11:00 am
Cost: $60.00*

Hip-Hop to Health

Dance your way to health while learning cutting edge dance moves to music that makes your
body groove. This class is a full-body dance workout that will make you sweat and keep you
smiling. This class is for beginners and Hip-Hop veterans alike.

 

Tap to Tone

Next Session: TBD

Get the rhythm in your feet and dance, dance, dance. This class is energetic, fun, and a
great new approach to toning and tightening your legs. Working on musicality and
coordination, tap is a great way to sweat and get in shape.

 

Get Your Sexy Back Jazz

Next Session: TBD

Sultry, sexy and just plain fun! Come join us with a jazz dance class that offers total
body conditioning while embracing your inner goddess. This dance class incorporates
a movement that is soft, strong and adventurous. This class is for beginners and seasoned
dancers alike. (Heels optional)

 

Booty Ballet

Next Session: March 14-April 25

Classic ballet done with not-so-classic music. This class offers both barre and center floor
work, focusing on stretching and toning while improving posture and balance. Enjoy the health
benefits of this effective technique. This class is for beginners and seasoned dancers alike.
